PAL Welcomes New Staff

We have some exciting news for you today! Thanks to the generosity of Kaiser Permanente and the grant provided to us (mentioned in our May 2017 post); PAL has been able to expand our staff! We have hired two new Program Coordinators, Lydia Morse and Amy Bristow. They will be working with both the Vancouver Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff’s office facilitating all of our various PAL programs.

Lydia is a Washington native and a recent college graduate. She received her Associates degree from Clark College here in Vancouver, and then went to the small town of Sterling, KS where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in pre-law.  She is super excited to be working with PAL because it combines her loves of working in the Criminal Justice field and with children in her local community.

Amy is from Portland, but originally from Vancouver. She was once a member of PAL when she was a kid; she attended the site over on the Portland side in Rockwood.  She’s very excited to be working with law enforcement and youth through the Police activity League of Vancouver. She is currently a student at Portland State University, obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Child, Youth and Family Studies. In the future she plans on working with youth with untapped potential as a Youth Worker.

Please join us in welcoming Amy & Lydia to our family!
