Deputy Brendan McCarthy named Volunteer of the 3rd Quarter

Deputy Brendan McCarthy has a heart for youth and police work. As a school resource officer (SRO) at Heritage High School he invests in teens daily, supporting them in making positive decisions and holding them accountable when they stray. When he is not working as a SRO, he is spending time with family or coaching a local sports team; basically he keeps himself fairly busy.

Over the summer Brendan spent a lot of time at camp with PAL. Part of this was because he maintained his SRO work with Evergreen Schools over the summer, but a lot of it was because he wanted to invest in our kids. He went above and beyond in supporting our summer camps. Helped with coaching all three sports and visited every camp at both locations, including our science based ones!

In light of his passion, dedication, and support PAL is excited to name Deputy Brendan McCarthy our volunteer of the 3rd Quarter! He works tirelessly to support his community through his work as a deputy, his volunteerism as coach, and his passion as a member of this community. Thank you Brendan for all that you are doing to keep our county safe and to remind youth that they have value. We so appreciate you!
