2018 Board of Directors

PAL is a pretty small organization.  If it was left up to our extravagantly large 3-member staff to get everything done… well, there’d be a few less tournaments let’s just put it that way.  😉

This is why we love to talk about our partners and volunteers.  Our officers out there helping us with programming, our local businesses donating time, money, and resources… they are all amazing and we couldn’t do anything without them!  There is also one other very large group of people that we rely on.  They don’t get as much press time as some, they don’t like to be in the spotlight often, but they are the true backbone of PAL Vancouver, and we want to graciously recognize them for their hard work, and time spent, day in and day out.  This group is our absolutely remarkable Board of Directors.

PAL is lucky enough to have a 17 member board as we just welcomed our most recent member, Pat Jollota, a retired professional, local historian, writer, and so much more.  We are excited to have her on board after so many years of her support for our programming.  Pat and everyone else on this board is in 100% and whole-heartedly want to help improve the lives of youth and build relationships between law enforcement and the community of Vancouver, WA.

We are thrilled to have our new President, Bill Oman, and our new Vice President, Brian Potter, steering the Board of Directors.  As the Executive Director of Secondary Education in the Evergreen School District (Oman), and the Operations Superintendent of the City of Vancouver (Potter), these two professionals are the perfect pair to bring ideas to the table that are sure to impact this community in a powerful and positive way.

This entire board is always looking to better the lives of others around them, from our officers, to our business owners, they touch every corner of this city and beyond and I’ll say again, we are so lucky to have each and every one of them.  So, as you can tell, we are pleased to formally introduce you to the 2018 PAL Board of Directors.
